Terrence Giang brings more than 20 years of experience in public and private equity investing, M&A advisory, and corporate management. He is a Managing Partner at DG Ventures, the venture capital arm of Japanese fintech conglomerate Digital Garage, where he invests globally across various stages (pre-seed to Series B, late to pre-IPO) and sectors (fintech / insurtech, retail / ecommerce, enterprise / SaaS, industrials, digital health).
Prior to joining DG Ventures, Terrence launched the Japan office of Equis Funds Group, an Asia-based private equity investor ($2.7BN AUM). He was also a founding member of Nippon Renewable Energy, a leading Japanese renewable energy developer and operator. Previously Terrence researched and managed equity investments on behalf of Steel Partners ($4.5BN AUM) and Enso Capital ($500MM AUM) in Tokyo and New York. Earlier in his career, Terrence worked in M&A investment banking for Banc of America Merrill Lynch and Credit Suisse in New York. He earned his undergraduate degree (East Asia Studies – Japanese) at Yale University.
