Joined DG Ventures in November 2024.

Prior to joining DG Ventures, Karuna began her career at Marsh Japan in 2014, a leading global insurance broker. She initially worked in B2B sales for major Japanese corporations before establishing the Digital Strategy Team. In this role, she led numerous business development and strategic alliance projects in the Fintech sector, with a particular focus on Insurtech. Additionally, she founded the Insurance API Organization to promote API integration within the insurance industry.
In 2022, Karuna joined Manulife Japan, where she served as a Turnaround Manager, implementing strategy and execution for a subsidiary revitalization project.

Graduated from the School of International Liberal Studies at Waseda University. She was born in the United States, and was raised in Japan.
